A military officer's memoir

Colonel Arturo Aruiza was referred to as "The Last Loyalist". He was President Ferdinand Marcos' (PFM) aide-de-camp and confidant who dedicated himself to protecting the President for 21 years. He stood by PFM's side from 1968 until PFM's death in Honolulu, Hawaii in 1989. This channel was created to keep Arturo Aruiza's legacy alive. He passed away from cancer in 1998. Unfortunately, his children's spouses and his grandchildren did not get the opportunity to meet him. It is my hope that this channel will give them a chance to learn something about him. In addition, Arturo wrote a book, "Ferdinand E. Marcos - Malacanang To Makiki", published in 1991-1992. His book is still mentioned and referenced by politicians (past and present), lawyers, professors, etc. The book was republished this year, 2023, and is ONLY AVAILABLE through Col. Aruiza's daughters, Lynnie & Anne Aruiza. His life, though short, was lived to the fullest. He will remain in our hearts forever...
