DJ DX

DJ DX (Robert Van Liew) is an American DJ, producer, and recording artist from Jersey City, New Jersey. He has been DJing since 1998, with over 27 years of professional experience and more than 500 events performed across the New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut tri-state area. He is the only DJ to perform as a featured artist on the TED stage (TEDxYouth@RVA 2022). Known across Latin America as "El Negro" through the Hood Reggaeton series. He plays R&B, hip-hop, Afrobeats, house, and old school. Also one half of Soul Shades, the live music duo with vocalist Julie Schatz (4.5 million TikTok views). Available for weddings, corporate events, nightclubs, and private parties across the tri-state area. Bilingual emcee in English and Spanish.
