Die Deutsches Primatenzentrum GmbH (DPZ) - Leibniz-Institut für Primatenforschung betreibt biologische und biomedizinische Forschung über und mit Primaten auf den Gebieten der Infektionsforschung, der Neurowissenschaften und der Primatenbiologie. Das DPZ unterhält außerdem drei Freilandstationen in den Tropen und ist Referenz- und Servicezentrum für alle Belange der Primatenforschung. Das DPZ ist eine der 96 Forschungs- und Infrastruktureinrichtungen der Leibniz-Gemeinschaft. The German Primate Center (DPZ) – Leibniz Institute for Primate Research conducts biological and biomedical research with primates in infection research, neuroscience and primate biology. The DPZ maintains three field stations in the tropics and is the reference and service center for all aspects of primate research. The DPZ is one of 96 research and infrastructure facilities of the Leibniz Association.
