Dr. Stavit Sinai

Sociologist | Lecturer in Philosophy | Activist I am a scholar working in the field of sociology of knowledge, postcolonial studies, and social theory. I am based in Berlin, Germany, where I teach classical philosophy to the public. I've earned my doctoral degree in the Department of History and Sociology at Konstanz University. My paper, "Self and Otherness in Israeli Sociology" was awarded the Junior Scholar Prize by the International Sociological Association (Japan, 2014). As an activist, I work to promote intellectual and civil resistance to apartheid.
