Centre for No-till Agriculture

The unfamiliarity with Conservation Agriculture practices among many farmers might make the initial impact on yield and input usage uncertain. However, it must not be forgotten that the adoption / adaptation decision must take place in an uncertain environment (subject to the vagaries of nature and the market). It is therefore important to have a permanent place where farmers can always turn to for knowledge and evidence of the technology so as to build their confidence in trying on their own and the Center for No-Till Agriculture (CNTA) at Amanchia was set up in 2012 for this purpose.
